Publishing from sub-domain to main domain

    Hi All
    Great plugin!

    The plugin description mentions subdomains …

    I’ve set up a sub-domain with WP installed, but want to publish to same domain – maybe not seeing it, how would one do this?

    example:

    wp.test-domain.com (where WP is installed)

    test-domain.com (publish static site here)

    Not sure how to set up the

    ‘/home/test-domain/public_html/’ path.

    Hi @sitebuilderone,

    Thanks for enjoying the plugin!

    This could vary greatly, depending on what OS/web server, etc you have in your hosting setup.

    The 2 domains (subdomain and “naked” domain) setup you described should work fine, just a matter of getting it working with your particular hosting setup. If it’s a paid service, get the money’s worth and ask them to walk you through it.

    If it’s your own/local setup, please give me a bit more information and I’ll try to advise.

    Once you get that sorted, there may be some issues with exporting from a subdomain on version 5.8. If so, please try this pre-release build of 5.9:
