i deactivated all my plugins and selected the default theme twenty twenty one , everything worked fine, but when i reactivate back the elementor and selected the astra theme , the issue came back , what should be the solution to this, i need astra theme and elementor
I’m also experiencing this error (noticed it for the first time on 27 Oct 2023). It appeared on all 4 of the websites I’ve set up, which are all using the Astra theme. I can work around it by switching permalinks to Plain to do page editing and then switching back (to Post Name) when I’m done.
I’ve tried on a sandbox site with *all* plugins disabled. With Astra theme, I can only add/update pages if Settings -> Permalinks is set to “Plain”. Changing theme to 2024, there is no problem (all permalink formats work). I repeated this exercise several times with consistent results.
@sarahgeara: that sounds like a server-side error that happens when saving. Please take a look at the error log of your hosting. Your hoster’s support can help you find it. Alternatively, you can also activate the debug mode in WordPress as described here: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
Either Elementor or Astra should then be recognisable as the cause. Contact the support of one of the two to clarify this.
