Published posts not featured in the loop: plugins not workink

    Hi, I am having a problem realted to many different plugins and to the way I customized the theme.

    I am using Max Magazine theme but I have made a one page layout out of it
    http://www.abcmprogetti.net/. The sidebar is under the loop and has the same width of the whole website.

    Only one categories of posts appear in the loop, the other ones are published but must be featured only in different widgets (it is quite a special website and each element links to an external URL).

    The problem is: many plugins I’d like to use such as List Category Posts or JCarousel Posts SLider will not show the featured images of the post that are not visible in the loop, even though they’re published.

    Other plugins such as Featured Category Posts Widget don’t have this problem.

    Anybody had a similar problem before and could you suggest something?

    I can explain better if it’s not clear!
