Support » Fixing WordPress » Published Posts Never Appear

  • Hey,
I have a WordPress install that’s been working fine for some time, but recently, whenever I try to publish an entry, it just fails silently. I click “Publish”, it does its thing, but the entry never shows up on any of the pages, nor in the Admin section. I’ve checked the MySQL database, and it’s never getting put there either. Is there any way I can get more details from WP to determine what’s wrong?

  • Actually I ran into this the other day using Firefox. I tried on another browser and it worked fine. So I flushed my cookies for my site and then rebooted my computer. No more problems so far. It’s probably your browser, nothing more.

Yeah – I’m having a similar problem. I’ll visit my page in Firefox and I’ll see “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”. If I clear my cookies, everything is fine. Anyone know what’s going on?
I’m going to continue to research and will post if I find anything.

I am having the exact same problem. I added a cookie for my tag/shoutboard and as soon as I refreshed, I get the “sorry no posts…”
Does anyone have a work around for this? I would like to use the cookie for my tagboard but not at the expense of not being able to read my posts.

Is there a way to add a tagboard without the cookie confliction?
