Published pages disappeared

    In the admin panel all of my published pages have disappeared. ‘All’ & ‘Published’ show the number 56 which is correct but the pages do not appear in the list.

    At first, the pages (except for the Home Page) would not work when browsing the site, however, when I changed to the default permalink setting (was previously /%postname%/) they worked again but they still don’t appear in the page list in the admin panel.

    All of my posts and custom post types are working fine, this has just affected the pages.

    Also, the wp_posts table in the db just hit 1000 lines/entries. That might be completely irrelevant but it just seems like a coincidence that everything worked fine until now, then it just breaks at 1000.

    The 1000 lines shouldn’t have anything to do with it.. Did you by any chance install a plugin and make any changes to the core WordPress files?

    I would try deactivating all plugins and see if one of them is the culprit.

    No, I haven’t installed any plugins in about 2 weeks. I deactivated the plugins one by one but none of them made a difference. I also switched back to the twentyeleven theme but that didn’t help either.

    The last activity on the site was the client adding/editing pages, that was yesterday, I had been using it earlier in the day and it worked fine. I can’t think of anything they could have done from the admin panel that would cause this.

    Something else that seems unusual is that the 2 latest posts (ID 1005 & 1006) have a post_date_gmt value of 0000-00-00 00:00:00. Also, the post authors are 1 & 2 respectively and they have a title of Auto Draft. This may not be unusual at all but I don’t see it on any of my other wp db’s, all of which are working fine.

    Fixed. This was happening due to some corruption in a few lines of the db.

    After running WordPress database repair it worked fine
