Hi @seedsca,
Thank you for using Hestia theme.
I see the problem on our end but it doesn’t occur to me, here is a fresh test instance with Hestia installed – https://simplebulb.s1-tastewp.com/2020/08/05/hello-world/
Can you try to disable other plugins that you’re using to see if there is no conflict with them? Does it happen for all posts?
Hi @bvytis thanks for the reply. I disabled all plugins on the site and still see the issue. All posts are missing the dates.
Thanks,
Sergio
Hi @seedsca!
Unfortunately, we can’t replicate this issue on our test instances, so it doesn’t seem to be a general problem with Hestia, but rather something related to your environment. Please try to check again for plugin conflicts using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, enabling the troubleshooting mode, which will deactivate all plugins, and then clearing the cache (browser and plugin, if you use any caching plugin).
Thanks!
Thanks for your update @luciamarinescu , unfortunately, I also can’t replicate your success. I have disabled all plugins, changing the plugin directory name, and cleared the caches. Nothing seems to help. I did check the Customizer for custom CSS but nothing there either. This would have to be some PHP somewhere… I’ll just leave it at that and say I used CSS to remove the whole line. Terrible solution since now the author does not show up, but I don’t see much of an option.
