• I am a newbie user, quite happy with how things have been going since starting with WP back in Feb (09). http://semicon-recession.com I am using the Atahualpa theme.

I have not posted since April 28. Today (5/14) I edited the 4/28 post and published it. It then would not show up on the blog beyond just the blog title. I created a new post and it had the same result – the title of the post show when published, but not the content. Or even the right side widget column, for that matter.

Still, all other previous posts and pages look fine as originally created.

I decided to try editing one more existing post to see what would happen. Same thing. After publishing the edited version, the content of the post and other elements of the blog either…
    -disappeared, or
    -fail to load

I’m not sure what is the best way to phrase it.

    Is this familiar?
    Any suggestions for TS?

    Thanks
    Richard

I read back through some similar sounding posts and the “Tweet This” plug-in kept popping up as a culprit. It would not deactivate in the normal manner but I changed the name in the directory as suggested on my Dashboard. Problem is gone.

Guess I should have spotted the similarity in posts before hand but I missed the meaning.

Wonder why the plug-in should fail. Are plug-ins the subject of attack?

I think the problem is that Tweet This uses http://th8.us/ to shorten urls, and that site looks to be down. Tweet This apparently does not handle it well.

Thank YOU!!! I have been trying to figure this out for over a week, and nothing was working. I switched to tinyurl and it’s all good now. Thanks for the info!
