    Hi,

I’m new to this so I apologise if I’m in the wrong place, or if this is a question that’s been asked and answered many times over.

How do I publish a page so that any visitor to the site can access it but without it appearing as an entry on the navbar at the top? If I make its status ‘private’ then no one can access it unless logged in, but I want people to access it via a link in my footer widget without it taking up space on the navbar.

I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme, if that’s relevant.

    Many thanks for any help.
