Publish more than one file at a time?

I’m working on two websites for community choral groups I sing in. (See http://www.islandsacappella.org or http://www.sanjuansingers.org) The primary use of the sites is to allow members to hear and download practice mp3 files for the pieces we’re working on. I have been processing files for DD by uploading the mp3s via FTP to the DD folder. Then, in order to add downloads to the site, I’ve had to publish every file separately, which involves a LOT of steps. Is there another way to do this, so that multiple files can be published at a time? This is VERY time-consuming.
