Support » Plugin: WP Scheduled Posts - Missed Schedule & Best Editorial Calendar » Publish future post immediately ON by default for drafts

    The “Publish future post immediately” is on by default regardless of the setting status thus publishing scheduled content immediately.

    Using classic editor

    Expected result: The check box to be off by default and allowing posts to be published at their scheduled time.

    Usage case: Writing a blog post over several days to be published at future date (e.g. a series for next month)

    Steps to reproduce:
    Add new post (with text in title and body)
    edit publish date to some time in future and click OK
    Save draft

    @fulfillmentscm,

    Hi, there. It seems to be okay from my side. We will have to investigate to say what’s causing the issue. Could you please send me a screen record? You are using the Classic Editor Plugin, right?

    Thank you.
