Publish from Word 2007 with custom post type/taxonomy

    Hey all,

    I’m looking in to using Word 2007 (xmlrpc.php) to publish articles to my site, but it seems that there is no way to select a post type or taxonomy (other than Category), which basically renders the feature pointless for me.

    Does anybody know of any tutorials for working around this, as I’m sure I can’t be the only one that would like this functionality?
