# Publish Date

 * On my website, I have it so that the posts show the date they were originally
   published along with time as well as the date and time it was last updated.
 * When creating items as pitches in the calendar, i schedule them for the day they
   need to be published, however, when they publish, they show the original publish
   date as the day it was created as a pitch, the the updated date/time as the time
   it was actually published.
 * The other issue is since it uses the pitch date/time, it places the article further
   down in the archives as well as on the stories on the home page making the “New”
   post show up after other posts.
 * As our website is a news website, this is very inconvenient and renders the pitch/
   calendar process useless.
 * Is there a way to fix this?
