Publish button on page doesnt work

Hello,

Am encountering a strange problem. Whenever i put in any text or a php code (i have exe php plugin running on the WP installation) the page refuses to get published. even though i clearly hit the publish button, it shows me that dialog box which is meant for when is closing the page without saving a post.

that is the confirmation box that says something like Are you sure you want to navigate away from the page? if so yes will discard all changes ….something that.

What do i do?

because of this i cant put in php codes in pages. and none of them are executing at all! (even though i have used page templates)

please help out.
