It seems that your site’s latest posts could not be synchronized with WordPress.com, and thus were not sent to your email subscribers or sent to your connected social media networks.

Jetpack’s synchronization is triggered via Cron by default, but that does not seem to work very well on your site. This is also why you’ve had to use the WP Missed Schedule plugin.

I believe you had managed to solve some of those issues on your own in the past:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/publicize-problem-with-https-and-scheduled-posts/
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/scheduled-posts-problem-2/

Could you check your cron schedules and make sure your cron jobs are still running properly on your site, so this does not happen again. On my end, I’ve fully restarted synchronization on your site and I’ve set it up to not use Cron when possible since that’s not really reliable on your site right now.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Jeremy,

thanks for the feedback! My cron is running fine (once every minute, from crontab, wp_cron is disabled).

“On my end, I’ve fully restarted synchronization on your site and I’ve set it up to not use Cron when possible since that’s not really reliable on your site right now.”

My last post some minutes ago was published to G+! I will try to reach an email subscriber about the mail notification.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Jeremy,

email notifications is working too now!

Hi there, we were having the same problem on our site. Publicize stopped working on March 3rd with latest version of Jetpack (we are using automatic plugin updates) for all social media sites and email.

First I checked the publicize settings, known problems with other plugins https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/known-issues/ and checked the iThemes security settings.

Then I solved the problem by simply deconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack, which before also showed a “problem with the connection” on the Jetpack debug page. After reconnection the status is green.

Should I still tweak the WordPress cron job settings as mentioned above to solve Jetpack problems like this permanently? As for now, no server cron job or changes to WP Cron have been applied on our site.

@peterszky I’m glad to hear you’re all set!

@w-sky Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!

@jeherve Hi Jeremy, at the end I just reconnected Jetpack once and since then it is working fine. Would you still be able to make use of the debug info?

However I would sent them to you privately.

@w-sky If everything works, no need to contact us! Don’t hesitate to send us that debug info privately following the instructions I posted above if you start having problems again!

    Hi Jeremy,

“On my end, I’ve fully restarted synchronization on your site”

Could you do this again? Email notifications and G+ posts stopped again.

@peterszky I’ve fully restarted the synchronization on your site again. Let’s keep an eye on this and if those emails stop once more, it’s possible that something else on your site is interfering with that function. In that case, we’ll run some more tests to isolate the problem.

    Cheers!

    Thank you!

OK, I will keep eye on it.

    Hi Tracy,

I think it stopped again, last post was:

    Hi Peter!

I suspect that this is related to a bug with the sync function that we’ve just discovered in the last few days. We just released a fix for it. Can you please make sure that you have the latest version of Jetpack installed and see if Publicize works consistently now?

If not, we’ll post a request to have the developers take a look at this one for us.

    Thanks!

    Hi Tracy!

I have to install a fix? Where can I find it? I’m using 6.0, the automatic WP updater don’t show any new version.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Todays first post was OK!
