# Publicize randomly posting old posts

 * Since last update (4.2.2) Publicize still sends updates (to twitter and linkedin
   in this instance) on new posts, but also tweets and posts random old posts from
   several years ago., several hours after posting the latest post.
 * Vantage theme. No other sharing plugins active.
 * Turned publicize off then activated again. No difference.

 * Sorry for the trouble!
 * Could you give me some examples of the posts that got publicized? Can you think
   of anything notable about those posts? Were they imported after the site was 
   created? Were they published before Jetpack got installed on that site?

 * I’ve deleted most of the tweets/linkedin updates, but this one went to linkedin
   yesterday,

 * Nothing notable about the posts – just random old ones. The whole site was exported
   and imported to a fresh install but that was about 9 months ago. I don’t think
   they were pre-jetpack install.

 * Apparently not – I thought so as seemed to happen a few hours after a new post,
   but yesterday and today, two old posts were publicized to twiyter and linkedin
   when there were no new posts published at all.

 * So it appears to be daily, regardless of whether there are any new posts.
