  • I am having the same issue, after updating Jetpack to the latest version.

Read somewhere that a new version is coming out, not too sure if I am right.

Me too. So I’m not the only one with this problem.

If am using the native wordpress editor, it is publishing to twitter, FB. But when I am using a third party WP User Frontend to post, it is not posted to twitter or FB.

Very much related to Jetpack as it happened only after Jetpack was updated, which was about 2 weeks ago.

@akash666 I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into issues. Could you give me more details about your site setup?

    • How do you publish your posts?
    • Do you publish your posts right away, or schedule them?
    • Does the problem happen with all posts, or only a few?
    • What are some examples of posts that didn’t get publicized?
    • If you schedule your posts, do you use a plugin that customizes WordPress’ default scheduling mechanism, WP-Cron, or do you use your own Cron system?
    • Does the problem happen for all Social Networks, or only a few?

    Thanks!

@soma2000 @langhof Could you please start your own threads, as per the Forum Welcome?

It would be useful if you could let me know your site URL there, as well as all information that may help me understand the problem, based on the questions above.

If you want your site URL to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Hello Jeremy,
Thanks for getting back to me.

    > How do you publish your posts?

    # I just Found its working fine if I publish a post directly using publish button but doesn’t work if I save the post as draft and publish later. (even after few seconds)
FYI, I’ve to approve all my authors posts manually so its not serving the purpose.

    > Does the problem happen with all posts, or only a few?

    # Yes. With all the posts.

    > What are some examples of posts that didn’t get publicized?
    # Just regular blog post. nothing special.

    > Does the problem happen for all Social Networks, or only a few?
    # For All. I use Twitter, Facebook & G+. I’ve removed them all to re-authenticate but G+ is no more working as it was. Its not allowing me to select & post in G+ page but posting in my G+ profile.

Could you post a link to one of those posts here, so I can take a look at our logs for that particular post?

    Thanks!

    Here is a link-

Not making any difference even if I draft a blank post with any title and publish later.

Would you be willing to deactivate BackupBuddy for a few minutes, publish a new post, and see if it gets sent to Publicize?

    (@akash666)

backupbuddy was installed just a day before yesterday but I’ve this issue for 3weeks now.
however I’ve tried disabling it. no changes. πŸ™

@akash666 Sorry for the delay in answering. Would you be willing to log in to your site via FTP, delete the existing Jetpack folder under wp-content/plugins, and upload this development version of Jetpack in its place?

Let me know how it goes!

    (@akash666)

    Sorry that didn’t work either!

Thanks for giving it a try. At this point, I’m afraid I’ll need to run more tests on your site to find out more about the problem. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site? We’ll reply to that email to start running more tests with you.

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!
