Support » Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com » Publicize: Facebook and LinkedIN showing Tags in contents
4 years, 2 months ago
I’m autoposting my blogs and each blog in the custom message box of the Jetpack’s Publicize module says:
Timelines, Inc. – Photogram
This is my title of the Post and the URL to the post, thats correct, on Twitter works well.
But at Facebook and LinkedIN each blog post says:
[appstore id=”405103795″ store=”US” style=”custombox1″]
This Tag is the content HTML on my blog, I just have this similar line on every blog.
I don’t know how to hide this.
Have anyone the same problem?
Could you try to fill in the “Excerpt” module that appears right under the Post editor in your dashboard?
If you didn’t fill in that field, WordPress will build its own excerpt from the first few words from your post, including the shortcodes you add there.
This excerpt is then used as a link description on Facebook.
No I didn’t, because, the problem is that you need to “manually” put some info into the “excerpt” box : ( not useful for autobloging.
A good idea would be to have some “fixed” message for all your post, like: “A new good blog post! Hey See it!” or something like that.
regards and thanks for response,
