Publicize Behavior Changed on Facebook (5 posts)

All posted used to say, ".... published an article on slashcomment.com." (our site) but now it says, ".... published an article on WordPress.com."

I've tried everything I can think of to fix it to no avail.

    What can be done?

Bump! I am also not happy with this new wording/format. My posts get publicized on multiple facebook accounts, this new wording makes it look like they all wrote the post in question.

That's indeed a known issue. We're looking into it. You can follow our progress here:

I'm not sure if this is in fact my problem. My issue is more with the phrasing "Published an article". Just because I'm publicising it doesn't mean I am the person who published it. I'm sure it used to say "Shared an article" or something similar.

The 2 issues are related. In Jetpack 2.6 we've updated Publicize to send more information to Facebook. As a result, Facebook gets more data and is able to create different types of updates based on the contents of your posts (length of the description, image, videos, Post Format, ...)
These new Facebook updates present more data to your Facebook friends, but also use a different wording and a different presentation, as you've realized. We'll see if we can improve this in a future Jetpack update.
