    Hello,

I’ve just started using the HAL WordPress plugin and I’d like to parameterize the number of publications that are displayed on a webpage: is it possible please?

Besides, is it possible to display the publications year-per-year in a way similar to the following?

    2017
    – paper 1
    – paper 2

    2016
    – paper 3
    – paper 4

    […]

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

For the number of publications, you can modify the CSS class “counter-doc” or “wbhal-nbtot”. You can also hide this span and show the number of publications with the shortcode [nd-doc].

Display the publications year-per-year isn’t possible at the moment. Maybe a future feature, let me think about that 😉

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer! A year-per-year display would be great indeed.

As for the modification of the CSS, do I need a particular plugin like Simple Custom CSS ? (sorry, I’m really new on WordPress)

    Best,
    Sébastien

You can change the CSS of the plugin directly on the WordPress Interface.
Plugins > Editor > Select the Plugin “HAL” > Modify the file “style.css”

But, when you’ll update the version of the plugin, you’ll lose all your modifications.
So, if you have a lot of modifications on the CSS, try to save on your computer a file with your modifications. 😉

    Best regards,
    Baptiste
