Hi all and thanks in advance for your help.

I posted a new post, public, limited posts on my homepage to 50 and I have 12 posts on my entire site. The date is today, I made it sticky, and it should be showing up at the top of my homepage but it won’t show up.

I had an issue with older posts not showing an option at the bottom to comment, but then I tried a new post and the new test post, and this new one that isn’t a test, have comments showing up on my end when I’m logged in but they just will not show up on the site for anyone else.

Does anyone know why this could be happening? Thank you again. This is super frustrating.

    Hi there,
can you disable all other plugins temporary, and check if the sticky post appears?
Are you using any caching plugins?
I noticed I could comment normally in new posts, so I am guessing you have resolved this https://prnt.sc/lk3esn ?
For your old comments can you check this (first suggestion) https://www.wpgarage.com/tips/allow-comments-in-old-posts-wordpress/
and let me know if it helps?

Oh wow this fixed it! I fixed the old comments issue and it made the latest post show up too!

I really appreciate your help everyone! 🙂

Question – could you tell me why this happened so I can fix it myself in the future?

    Hi there,
    Glad you worked this out!
This happened because in the past you have disabled comments. WordPress will keep this setting for old posts even when you enable it in new ones.

I’d like to ask you, if you like the theme and could take a minute to review it here it would help us a lot!

Let me know if you need additional help on this.
