Public can’t see or download published files

    I have set my Folders to allow files to be seen (not hidden). I have set some documents to be Public and Published. However, when I go to the page anonymously, I see no files. ( I have 2 files on that page). Also, before the last update, I could see the files but as anonymous I could not download them even though I had selected to allow non-users to be able to download them.

    The problem with setting all files to be visible is that we wanted some only to be visible and accessible to board members. There are no settings for individual folders that I could find.

    you are correct folder don’t have permission right now..

    The best way to hide files from certain people is to user the contributors option for each file.

    If you make a file hidden then add specific users as contributors to that file only the owner of the file and the contributors can see and download the file.

    Yeah, but I’m having trouble allowing ANYONE to see files that I have marked publicly available and published!!

    The page link above should show 2 downloadable files visible to all people. It shows none.

    Weird I just took a look at the link and I see the 2 files and can download them.

    What browser are u using

    Now I can too… weird is right… I was using Chrome or Firefox anonymously…

    are you the only one editing these files. Maybe someone else made them private?
