public-api.wordpress.com returns 500 Error when connecting to LinkedIn

Just trying to re-connect with LinkedIn
1. Click Publish… button on post
2. Notice message “Before you hit Publish, please refresh the following connection(s) to make sure we can Publicize your post:”
3. Click the “Refresh connection with LinkedIn” button
4. Get directed to LinkedIn sign-in page and sign-in
5. Get directed to “WordPress would like to:” allow pages. Click Allow
6. Webpage displays: “There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.”
7. Google dev tools console says: “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()”Tried with multiple browsers
MacOS Catalina 10.15.1
Google Chrome Version 78.0.3904.70 & Safari Version 13.0.3 (15608.3.10.1.4)
Also tried on OnePlus 3T mobile with Chrome also same resultThe page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
