[Resolved] Public access for one category, Private access for another category

  • fercho74

    @fercho74

    i have 2 categories(travels and trucks). but only one category is public (everybody can see the single-page) and the another category only the register user can see.
    I’m using the sentence “if (is_user_logged_in()) ” in businessdirectory-single.php

    How can i do for …
    -make the category “travels” public for anyone and
    -make the category “trucks” private only for registed users
    ?

    (Sorry for my english…)

    Hi fercho74,

    You can do that as follows.

    1) Get a membership plugin for WordPress which allows you to restrict content by page
    2) Use the short codes for a specific category to create a page for travels and a page for trucks.
    3) Restrict access as you mention above
    4) Restrict access to the general business directory for registered users

    That should do it.
