pubDate format

    I am noticing that the pubDate does not format the same as the standard feed when the language for the blog is other than English.

    For Example:

    standard feed shows

    <pubDate>Wed, 14 Oct 2020 14:16:26 +0000</pubDate>

    call_custom_simple_rss=1

    <pubDate>wo, 14 okt 2020 16:16:26 +0200</pubDate>

    any idea why the day and month is not showing in English like the standard WP feed?

    1. added – option to choose in plugin defaults screen – Post RFC Universal Date & Time
