Hello there,
I’ve tested our live demo with this post on facebook https://proteo.yithemes.com/classic-shop/blog/hello-world/ and it retrieve and share the featured image correctly.
How is this blog post created? does it use the featured image? A link may help a lot. This way I can debug what is happening.
Maybe you shared your post prior to add the featured image and the social cache needs to be flushed (here a link to flush facebook image cache: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug )
Meanwhile you can cosider also using a seo plugin (like yoast seo) where you can specify an image as schema.org image to use.
Hello, sure the blog posts have their featured images…
Here you have the link of the blog: https://cmpasesores.com/blog/
I have articles divided for three main categories
Thanks
Danilo
Hello there,
are you using some plugin to compress/optimize somehow the page? can you please try to disable html minification and similar? and also flush the cache. I’ve tested a couple of sites using Proteo without issue… using your website a couple of og properties are not retrieved because of the html (this is what it looks from the scraping tool)
Hello, I’m using a nitro pack plugin to optimize the website. I’m going to disable it and purge the cash.
I’ll let you know
Not completely solved, disabled the nitro pack plugin… purged the cash… shared on LinkedIn it works, shared on facebook not… still the same problem..
What it can be ?
Hi again,
if it works on LinkedIn, it should also on Facebook. To flush the facebook cache use the debug tool from this link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
Problem solved with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wonderm00ns-simple-facebook-open-graph-tags/
Just in case someone else get in trouble with this..
Thanks for the help
Danilo
