  • Is there a plugin that can protect all the images I upload into my media library? I am currently using Blog Protector (ver 1.6) by Anurag Choudhari but the problem with this plugin is that it does not protect the full image when it is outside of the main site.

    For example, I upload photo1.jpg onto my site, and while looking directly at my site (ex. http://www.myblog.com), everything is protected (no selecting, right clicking, dragging). Once the image thumbnail is clicked on the full image is displayed, so instead of looking at http://www.myblog.com, the user is viewing the image at http://www.myblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/photo1.jpg and they are able to right click and save the image.

    If anyone has a solution to make it so that the full image outside of the main page can not be saved as well, that would be a great help. Or, if there’s some way to disable linking to the full image, that would be an options as well.

    Please let me know if further clarification is needed.

    Thanks again!

  • I like the easy approach
    for any folder I don’t want browsed I put up a simple index.html in the folder – like

    <html>
    <body>
    You're browsing for something you shouldn't be
    </body>
    </html>

    or you could just put a redirect in the file and redirect them to a specific page on your site where you belittle them and call them names :>)

    LoL, that is an excellent idea, but I still want to allow them to view the images… just not copy them off my site. >.<

    Any plugins that might help?

    Thanks for your help!
