How does the protected download pages work? I can go directly to the example download page when logged out of admin. Tried this on couple of browsers and can access page directly.

Send you contact on your site, but have no idea if your contact form works. After submitting all I got was blank page.

Thank you in advance for reply,

    Terry

Well… Starting to think plugin no longer supported / developed.

I cannot find any way to “protect download pages” setup a product and followed instructions, download page is available to anyone with URL?

    I am so sad:(v):

    hi,
the product is actively. The download page is accessible to administrators and via the link a user gets in his mail after purchasing.

I will add the option to easily copy the link to set it as a thank you page 🙂

    Thanks for reply.

Yes, the download is accessible to admin and the world.

In description of your plugin, you have “Protect Download Pages”. How do you protect download pages?

Are you using a caching plugin? The download page is protected for non-admins, I just tested it again.

for example, http://staging.arevico.com/download/example-thank-you-page/ if you load this one you will get an error

but if you are redirect via clickbank e.g. via
    http://staging.arevico.com/download/example-thank-you-page/?item=1&cbreceipt=********

    It will show correctly 🙂

“Are you using a caching plugin?”

Yes, using WP Super Cache. Added to ignore my /cbdownload and still shows page.

I see that yours work, but hours spent and still cannot get mine to work:)

I used contact form on your site and sent the URL but no clue if your received, after submit just shown a blank page. Not comfortable placing links to our sites in this forum.

Any other ideas? Really like to use your plugin.

    Thanks

I removed it from the site and installed on another one. It works!

The new site also has WP Super Cache so must be some type of issue with another conflicting plugin.

Will troubleshoot at a later date to see what is conflicting.

    Thank you!

Just a note that may be useful if others have issues like mine:

Seems my issue was related to PHP 7.2. Soon as I switched to PHP 7.0 everything started working.

Since Clickbank INS6 requires the Mcrypt extension, anything above PHP 7.0 will not work. Hard to believe that Clickbank would reply on abandonware (which Mcrypt extension is). Seems they would move forward with Openssl since the rest of the world is.

Relying on PHP5.6 and PHP7.0 is bad since end of life security updates end Dec 2018.

Maybe changing this plugin to also work with INS2.1 (or 4) would be an option for those who run current versions of PHP. Yes, Clickbank says INS2.1 is on way out but been saying that for long time…

thanks for the heads up. The plugin uses openssl decrypt if mbcrypt isn’t available. but it would make sense to reverse this.
