Proper chmod permissions for important files/folders

    Hi

    What would be the recommened chmod permissions for important files and folders? eg: wp-config.php, .htaccess, /wp-content, /wp-content/uploads, /wp-admin, etc?

    Should the directories be 755 while the files within them be 644?
