Project Link On Homepage Not Working

Hey All,

I just switched this theme over and was wondering if there is a way to redirect the latest projects or portfolio links to display a blog post instead of a project/portfolio.

also if this is not possible i just need a way to fix this link to redirect properly. whenever i try to put in a link in the project link, permalink, or featured image url i get a loop error that will goes nowhere and gives me an error.

is there an easy way to resolve this that i am not aware of?
