Progressive Loading

Meteor Slides uses the jQuery Cycle 1 script, which doesn’t have built in support for lazy loading like this.

Eventually Meteor Slides will be updated to use the Cycle 2 script, but I still wouldn’t recommend using a large amount of images, how ever you load them they do all eventually need to load and it will make the file size of the pages larger and speeds slower. I try to keep the total size of each page under 1MB, which means a few larger slides, or several smaller slides.
