Progress Widget Raised Amount Wrong

    The progress bar widget is displaying the wrong donations total. I have $1,080 in donations, but it is only displaying $1,030. It was displaying correctly, but I had to make an edit to the home page. Afterward, I purged all caches. Now, the amount is wrong.

    I have tried clearing the WP caches, purging CDN cache, disabling cache plugin, disabling Give plugin, emptying browser cache. I have also examined the database for my site and can see that all donations are properly inputted in the database.

    WE have several recalculation tools that should help with that. See our docs on that here:

    Try that out and let me know if that resolves the issue for you. If it doesn’t please go to “Donations > Tools > System Info” and provide your system info here for me to see if I notice anything else that might cause the issue.

    Matt, thanks for responding. Actually I did stumble across the recalculation tools earlier this morning and after running one on the appropriate form, and then clearing all caches, I am happy to announce that the widget is now displaying the correct amount.

    Great to hear. Our progress bar is calculated directly from the database, so most likely your host/plugin has database caching, so in the future if you keep seeing that as a problem clear that cache and you should be good to go.
