Programming Tags

Programminng tags.
Hello,
I am signing up with an ad company and they told me they needed programming tags, I have no idea what they are and have looked everywhere. I sent tags that I would use for posts and he said those were meta tags, this is what he said after he told me they were meta tags;

The tag I am referring to is a programming code I send you that allows my demand clients to run video ads within your 300×250 display unit on your mobile site based on available impressions you send us.

Any examples or anything anyone can guide me would be awesome.

My site is focused on Reality Television if that helps.
