# programatically create post

 * Does anyone know where I would start with this? I just want to create a function
   that takes a few inputs and creates a post. My knowledge of PHP and WP is still
   limited. But getting stronger.

 * I am also looking for a plugin (if one exists) that will search the database 
   and find a post with a specific custom field value.
 * Any help is of course greatly appreciated.

 * I understand the first might be a little hard to explain. I’ll figure it out 
   myself and ask more specific questions if I need to.
