Profit Column Directly on Product Page

    Hello there, wonderful job out there.

    Need to propose to you or to assist me in order to make another calculation if possible but this time not with the field Cost of Goods.

    Just to provide an option if needed for client to add directly the Profit on product (because some times the real Profit is calculated different than just the price of Cost of Goods when other selling platforms are included in the transaction).

    For example if the field is the real Profit, then on orders the profit will be calculated simple with this field * product quantity – Shipping Costs.

    Please can you guide me to change something on code of this plugin to achieve this (you already have the option to rename the Cost of Goods Field) or maybe to add an extra function / option either Profit or Cost of Goods to show as a field with the necessary maths.

    Hi,

    Have you tried the options for extra costs? They are available under the Orders tab: Extra costs all orders, Extra costs per order and Extra costs from Meta.

    In your case you could use the order cost per order option to add extra costs to orders which have a transaction fee.

    If you need to add a specific fee for a payment gateway you could use the Extra costs from meta option. Simply add PayPal Transaction Fee or other similar meta here.

    Hello thank you for your quick response.

    Unfortunately the transaction fees are always different through selling platforms and there is no standard transaction fee for every category of product..

    Any other solution if possible???!!

    Hi,

    Are the transaction fees say a percentage of the selling price? In that case you could still use the meta options.

    Unfortunately they are changing from time to time and they are a lot!!
