    Hello,

I had a terrible time idnetifying what was wrong with my user profile page not showing up (instead I had the famous “404 Page not found” alert).

By fixing just one thing all went bakc to normal…

    And it was NOT :
    –> Permalink structure
    –> Child forms
    –> Resetting advanced tab

    What it IS :
–> My website is named ‘DanceVouchers’, it’s a work in progress so not direct link to it exists at the moment… but there IS 2 capital letters !!!!

Ultimate Member automatically generates the names to profil pages with ALL SMALL LETTERS…
    – so result is : “…dancevouchers/{user}/” !!!
    – And should be : “…DanceVouchers/{user}/” !!!

Could this be fixed soon ? If not where should i look in the code ?

    Best regards,

    Daric

    Hi @darlio,

DNS is not case sensitive and no matter how you type your domain in the browser it will be transformed to small case.
I’m afraid, this is not Ultimate member issue, this may be due to your server settings or .htaccess file config.
If you are using localhost I suggest uploading your site on to the actual server and see if this issue goes away.

    Regards.

    Hello @ultimatemembersupport,

First of all thanks for the so quick answer !

In short –> Yes, you are right !!!

To be precise this happened directly on the online website (I develop directly on it on sub-domain) 😉

I solved the problem by going back to best practice which is to keep all small letters in any http address 😉

On another hand, it was, as you said, in small letters in my “.htaccess”, as you suspected. I did not change it, so don’t know what would have been the result, since i went to all small letters !

    With my very best regards,

    Daric
