Profile Builder Localization is not working

    Hi,

    i am trying to translate in Greek the profile builder but it doesn’t work for some reason…

    i have the files either at :

    wp-content/languages/plugins
    and wp-content/plugins/profile-builder/translation

    the filename is : profile-builder-el.po and profile-builder-el.mo

    the website is configured in Greek language from wp settings.

    Hi again,

    First of all thanks for the quick reply.
    I am ok with the process till translation..i need help after i download the .po and .mo files from there..

    Hi,

    After you finish the translation all the strings will then need to be approved by one of the admins.

    Then on the page bottom click Export and select the .po and then the .mo files.

    You need to rename them: profile-builder-el_EL.mo and profile-builder-el_EL.po and place them in the Translation directory in the plugin.

    Then in the WP back-end UI, under Settings go to Site Language and select Greek. This way Profile Builder’s strings will be in Greek.

    We’ll also make sure to include all the translations updates in each plugin update.

    I did all the above, except that i downloaded the .po and .mo files locally, and i am updating the .po file with dreamweaver.

    But it still doesn’t work….the language is in Greek and the files are stored and renamed as you suggested…

    Hi,

    I am sorry because I made a mistake in the previous post. The correct form for the .mo and .po files is “profile-builder-el.mo” and “profile-builder-el.po”.

    I had the files as ..el.mo and profile-builder-el.po and profile-builder-.mo and didn’t work…
