• I have a huge problem of which no one seems to be able to help with me. The latest ‘help’ is from host gator of which they say that my products are being fetched from wp-admin. When I try to load my products in my backend/dashboard it takes nearly 10 minutes…literally. And this site is SMALL compared to the other one of which I have no problems.

Host Gator says “We see your WordPress site spends an inordinate amount of time looking for images in odd places when loading http://mywebsite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product . I recommend you investigate why your plugins would be looking for product images in the wp-admin folder.

    Sample excerpt from systems trace:
lstat(“/home/username/public_html/mywebsite.com/wp-admin/Product-Image-Color-Choices-Glow-In-The-Dark-Ribbon-165×165.jpg”, 0x7ffc34c55d20) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)”

So does ANYONE Know what the heck is causing this issue. I have woocommerce v.2.5.5 installed on both sites…

I have 2 websites, both of which have the same theme, skin, and woocommerce.

The ONLY plugin I have installed that is associated with products is WooCommerce.

That is a strange place to be looking for images. Do you have any images related plugins? Or have you every moved the location of your media directory?

Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.
