    Hello,

We’re using the WooCommerce Analytics beta plugin in production because we need the Order Attributions report and it’s not currently available in core WooCommerce.

We found what we believe is a bug under the WP Admin > Analytics > Products report. We select the Last Month filter then search on a brand name that is used in the matching product titles. The brand name in this example is Plum Flower, then we select “All products with titles that include Plum Flower”.

The resulting filtered report indicates (41 Products, 168 Items sold, 78 Orders) sold last month by that name. However, if we download the full report CSV with no filters except Last Month then there’s 92 products beginning with that name Plum Flower in their titles. Out of those 92 products all but one Plum Flower – Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien had sales in the period in question.

Further, if we search on a product title that is missing from the filtered report but present in the unfiltered CSV, it then shows up as expected. So we know that the missing products such as Plum Flower – An Shen Bu Xin Teapills are cached properly, just that the filtering mechanism isn’t showing all results for Plum Flower itself.

We would like to be able to search for Plum Flower and see all of its sold products in the report without having to download the CSV and manage that spreadsheet side.

    Thanks,

    Hi there!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you notice that the figures displayed in the reports differ from the actual figures on your website you can clear the cache by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and running the Clear Analytics Cache tool. If the figures still look off after clearing the cache, try re-importing historical data.

If that does not work, could you please share the System Status Report, which you can find under WooCommerce → Status?

Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share the link here. Once we have that information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

We recently flushed the Woo Analytics cache when debugging something else. It takes quite a while to rebuild. That wasn’t the culprit. We know that in this case because when we search the Woo Analytics > Products report for a full product name it shows up, just not when searching for the partial name. So we know that the cached data is present.

Here’s the SSR good for one week.

    Thanks,

    Hi @seanconklin,

Thank you for sending the report. I’ve forwarded this internally for further review. Since the plugin is still in beta, actively being developed, and not yet production-ready, issues like this can occur.

Right now, there isn’t a dedicated channel for handling bugs or feedback because multiple developers are working on different parts of the plugin. Still, your report has been acknowledged and escalated.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to let me know.

    Hi @seanconklin,

Ticket number came in an email, it’s #10512836.

Also, side note, I selected Woo core as there was no option for WooCommerce Analytics in the product list there.

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the ticket number — I can see that you’ve already created a ticket with our team. And yes, selecting Woo Core is perfectly fine since WooCommerce Analytics isn’t listed as a separate option.

Our experts will follow up with you as soon as possible. Since you already have an open ticket with them, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved on my end.

If you need anything else in the meantime, feel free to reach out.
