products page

    I have been going crazy I am very new to this and what I want to do is have my homepage as my static and I want to blog a little so I set the blog so my post go there. My problem is i have a product page and I got a shopping cart plug in that is working fine but how do I put something on my product page because if I post my item i want to sell it defaults to the post page which is my blog. Can you please explain this to me real easy how to add things to a page. I tried posting making the product page the parent but when I go to the website it is no where to be found.

    Clarify — are you saying you want the products page to be your home page? If so, go to Setting–>Reading, choose static front page, and then select the products page.

    No I want to add different items on the products page. The static page is home which comes up first and never changes. I guess what I mean is posting something and choosing which page to put the content on, for me I want it to go on a certain page like the product page. But I set my posts to go to my blog because I also blog and I don’t want products to show up on my blog page.
