Hi @refrivan,
Thank you for reaching out!
If I understand correctly, the specific product whose Facebook sync is set to Sync and show in catalog
according to this screenshot, appears as Do not sync
in the Products admin page?
If so, it seems to me that this is not the intended behavior. Would you mind performing a full conflict test by following our guide below and letting us know if you notice a change?
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
Also, make sure you’re not excluding categories and tags from sync.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for replying so quickly, I know some of my plugins are not up to date because I get notifications about that, but I’ve consulted a few months ago with the developper that did the website and he told me not to update anything, because sometimes that can break down the website.. I really would prefer not to change themes and update plugins because if something goes wrong he’s not available any more to help me out :/

Hi @refrivan
I can understand that you are reluctant about changing the theme and updating plugins as there may be compatibility issue which may make the site crash!
I agree with you but at the same time it is essential to run the test because otherwise it won’t be possible to detect the root of the problem.
Therefore, what you can do is to create a duplicate/staging site for testing purpose. Many hosting providers offer site staging facilities, but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin. That way your main site will remain unaffected, and you can do any kind of testing on the staging site without any worries.
Please let us know how it goes – we’ll be glad to help further.
On another note, not keeping all the site software updated is generally not a very good idea since it could cause all sorts of functionality issues. So you may want to take care of that once the problem at hand is solved.
Okay, i’ll try to duplicate the site. Can I check with you the steps I must follow? I install the WP Staging plugin, duplicate the site and proceed with this section https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#section-4 ?
Hi there @refrivan 👋

That is correct. Also, make sure you’re not excluding categories and tags from sync.

Hi, I’ve already checked the excluding categories and tags before I’ve reported the issue, there’s nothing added there..
I’ve already updated every plugin, it didn’t fix the issue, so I change the theme and updated it, nothing there.. I deactivated every plugin except woocomerce and facebook for woocommerce, products still remain with the tag “Do not sync” on the Products admin page even though they’re set as “Sync and show in catalog” 🙁
Should I try “Enable debug mode” on the Facebook tab?

Hello @refrivan,
Should I try “Enable debug mode” on the Facebook tab?
I’m not sure if that will help. Have you tried checking with your host to understand if they have some sort of script that terminates processes taking longer that a certain time?
WPEngine is known for having such a thing, perhaps your host has a similar setup. :\
I have another catalog linked to another website (it’s similar to amazon, it’s called mercadoshops, from MercadoLibre), I’m using this catalog that functions fine to see if I can find differences that I might be able to fix.. There’s this difference I think may be important? The one that works fine says it’s linked to the app MercadoShops, the one that’s supposed to be linked to WooCommerce doesn’t have that box although I’ve checked on the page admin and the app has been added with the plugin

Deleting the store on the fb page, deleting the existing catalogue and reinstalling the plugin could fix the problem?
Hi @refrivan ,
Deleting the store on the fb page, deleting the existing catalogue and reinstalling the plugin could fix the problem?
You may try that. Do note that if the catalog is already connected to a shop, then you’d need to create a new shop and connect it with your Facebook page since catalogs already connected with a shop can’t be deleted in Facebook Business Manager.
Do let us know how that goes. If the issue persists, then please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.
Okay, thanks!
I deleted the previous catalog and shop and created a new one of both, but still nothing changed 🙁

Is it mandatory for this plugin to work to have a paid suscription to woocommerce? Or may it work with the free one?
I finally found the problem, I’ll update it here so anyone with a similar problem can check it out:
Product titles can’t be all capital letters and there was a dot on the short description (I don’t know why) that doesn’t let the syn work well either
