Products Don't Show Up in Categories After Importing New Items

    Sorry if this is posted somewhere here but I couldn’t find it when searching… So I created a csv file for my products to upload, and in the category column I made sure it was formatted like this:

    Musical Instruments|Acoustic Guitars

    The import looks great and you can see that it added the categories in the admin area but when you go to look at it on the website they don’t show up. The only way I got them to show up was simply going in to each product and updating it, THEN it showed up on the website. Know what I mean?? What’s up? What am I missing here?
