    Hi,

    When product_type is mapped to Category path, the attribute is missing for about half of the products, even though a product category is checked. Can you shine a light on what might be causing this? Thanks,

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    Could it be:

    • you have the Yoast SEO plugin installed;
    • products are active in multiple categories: so you selected more than 1 category for your products;
    • and you haven’t set the primary category for those products?

    If the above is the case then the plugin doesn’t know which category to pick. Making one of those categories the primary category will solve the issue at hand.

    Hi Eva,

    I believe you are onto something:

    • Yoast SEO is installed.
    • Products without a value for product_type are in one single category.
    • As there is only one category, naturally no category can be selected

    However, there are also product with one product category that dó have a product_type set. I haven’t found the common denominator for products without a product_type.

    Hi Ivan,

    We have just tested this assumption but it doesn’t seem to be the cause as for us it works fine. Just to be sure, you are on the latest version of our plugin (version 5.3.5)?
