Since the error message is too cryptic, I don’t know what is wrong.

Are you able to upload a file using FTP to you server? If so, what I can do is to expose a menu item to load the product file from a staging area on your server. Will do that in a future release.

Yes, I can upload via FTP, but then I can’t past the file’s URL into the area in the plugin it needs to be. How do I get around this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Manoj,
Does that mean there’s no way for me to get my files uploaded now? When is your next release coming? Or do you have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot why it won’t allow me to upload a .zip file? I’m setting this up for a client.

    Thanks!

There is an option in EZ PayPal (accessed by clicking the Configuration tab), where you can uncheck the option to “Use Random File Names”. Once that is done, the file names on the server would be the same as the product file name, and you can just copy the file to the storage area (which may or may not have a random name, depending on your option for that.) Hope this explanation is clear.

The version with the menu item to load a file already on the server will be ready in about two weeks. A bit busy with a bunch of other things right now.

Just released this functionality (only in Pro version for now). Sorry it took so long…
