 * Hi!
 * I have a problem with filtering woocommerce product variations. Im using a plugin
   called Woocommercer X to filter products. This works fine however filtering variations
   that are out of stock seems to be a pain in the ass. The plugin should support
   it, and i created a demo site and it works fine.
 * But at the main site is wont work. The trick seems to be:
    1. to delete the variations
   of a product (setting i back to simple). 2. Set i back to variation 3. re-add
   all te variations, manage stock, stock, price, sale price 4. filtering works.
 * Does anybody has an idea where this is coming from?

 * Hi there,
 * At first glance, this looks like a cache issue… Have you tried to disable all
   your cache plugins and caching systems in your server to see if the issue persists?
 * Another thing that I’d also suggest you to do is to disable the rest of your
   plugins (leaving only WooCommerce and “WooCommerce X” enabled) to see if the
   issue is solved. If it is solved, you can try to reactivate the deactivated plugins
   one by one or in small groups and repeat the test until you can replicate the
   issue again and therefore, find the plugin that is generating a conflict.
 * Of course, I recommend you to run this test in a staging or development version
   of your site.
 * Please give it a try and tell us if the issue persists.

 * hi Thanks for the reply,
 * Yes i have tried both, cache (SG Optimizer from siteground) is off a couple off
   days now. Or there must be soms caching im not aware off?
 * Disabling all of the plugins also has no effect 🙁
 * Deleting one variation of modifying it doest work. Only if i delete al of the
   variation en readd them. Also when a product has 2 of more atribute as variation(
   like size and colour) the filter also doesnt filter on stock. Only when you also
   filer on colour it will check stock when filtering size.
 * You would think this is basic req. for a webshop so that woocommerce would have
   build this in.

 * Hi [@eneblenl](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eneblenl/)
 * Thanks for taking time to do those tests.
 * I understand that you tried clearing the cache through the SG Optimizer plugin.
   Additionally, can you reach out to SiteGround support and disable any server
   side caching that they may have? (As far as I know, SiteGround does cache websites
   on the server side quite heavily). Perhaps, this might help?
 * Additionally, I would also recommend that you reach out to the support folks
   of the X Plugin: [https://help.xforwoocommerce.com/](https://help.xforwoocommerce.com/)
   At the end of the day, this appears to be a problem with their plugin, and being
   the developers, they should be able to guide you on the same.
 * We look forward to hearing back from you!

 * Hey,
 * Hristo from SiteGround here.
 * [@eneblenl](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eneblenl/) Please, try disabling
   Memcached to see if that will help you with the problem.
 * [@harishanker](https://wordpress.org/support/users/harishanker/) which “server-
   side caching” do you mean?

 * [@hristo-sg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hristo-sg/) Hey! 👋 Thanks for
   digging-in to this issue. Apologies, I should have been clearer. I used the term`
   server-side caching` as an umbrella-term for OpCache, Memcached, Object caching,
   varnish etc that web servers use to speed up websites. As mentioned in our [support document](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/),
   we’ve seen that sometimes this causes troubles with WooCommerce (when the cart,
   checkout, and my account pages get cached). Let me know if you require any additional
   clarification on this one.

 * Howdy!
 * We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark
   this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please start a new thread.
 * Cheers!
