    Hi

I’m trying to create a new order for a customer.
So in “orders” I click “add new order” and find the customer and check all the details.
    That’s all good.
When I add items, I can add simple products and I can see the new line and the price.
    That’s good too
But when I add a product variation it shows the line and 1 pcs @ 0$
I understand that I need to add the variation, but I can’t see where.
It shows me that I can add Meta, but the box is empty and I therefore can’t complete the order.

I have the same problem when I add product bundles.

And when I want to add Shipping I can choose shipping metode, but nothing is being calculated.

It all works fine in the front end.

    Can anybody help?

When you search, available variations will be shown. If its an ‘any’ type variation, the price may not be added for you because it doesn’t know what options would have been chosen. You can input the price manually in that case. There is an edit button to the right of the product row.

I get the overall variation shown and I can add the line to the order, but I’m not shown any variations to chose.
eg. I can add a solar panel to the order, but I can’t choose 12 or 24 Volt
If I could choose, 12 Volt is one SKU and 24 Volt another SKU. Therefore it’s important for me. Sometimes the price also changes by variation.

All my variations has a standard variation, but that is not chosen either.

This is something that would need to be looked at closer by logging in; It’s a tad difficult imagining your setup from the “outside”. You might have to get in touch with a web developer to look into this in a bit more detail

I have now tried to deactivate all plugins (except Woocomerce) and changed to Storefront theme, on a clone setup of the site.
    Same thing happens.

It must be me that does something wrong and not a bug…. I guess??

I have made a short video of the problem: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11589858/Untitled%208.avi

I have tested in Chrome and FireFox. Same problem.

Are these two variations on your “Rutland 1200” variable product, or two different products: http://cld.wthms.co/1aKg0/2QBPkpWM ?

When I search for a variable product, this is what I see: http://cld.wthms.co/1l8FU/37JQGF8O

Could you screenshot or take a video of the variations on your variable product?

Your links are broken in some way. They don’t work.

My variations for Rutland 1200 are a 12 volt version and a 24 volt version. The 2 variations has their own SKU numbers and are two different products.

The screenshot service’s servers may have been down earlier. You can try again – they seem to be working for me.

Thanks for the video. So you do have individual variations for each, I’m not sure why they aren’t showing up in the search in the orders screen.

Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. Then re-save the variation product and try searching for it again in the admin order area. If the above steps resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    Now your screenshots worked.
Your first screenshoot shows the danish and the english version of the wind charger product (I use WPML and woocommerce multilingual to translate products). “below” that there are the variations with own SKU’s.

I have switched to storefront and only woocomerce active (on my dev installation)
I have resaved the variation and the product it self. No change :o(

You can have access to my dev installation as admin, if you like? πŸ™‚

Hmm, there must be something pretty strange going on with your installation – I’m just not sure where.

With all plugins disabled except for WooCommerce, try creating a new variable product from scratch (not duplicating an existing one). Use a custom attribute with 2 terms, then create two variations – one for each term. And make sure each has a price. Then go to manually create an order and search for this variable product.

    Hi Caleb

I made “Variation test product” and added two variations “variation 1″ and Variation 2” with their own sku numbers “var 1” and “var 2”

And it worked!… I could add them to a new order.
I then added to manage stock, back ordering and weight. It still worked!

But then I stumbled over that it’s not the variations….. it’s the search!
    See this video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11589858/Untitled%2012.avi

When searching for “1200” the variations are not found, but searching for “Rutland 1200” they show up….

    (@flofre)

And then I have a problem with my bundles (made with YITH WooCommerce Product Bundles Premium)
When adding a bundle I can’t choose any options within the bundle, but I guess that this is a case for the plugin creator?

But then I stumbled over that it’s not the variations….. it’s the search!

Ahh, when you search only a number – I think it tries to look for the product ID. 1200 isn’t the product ID, so it’s not finding everything it needs to. I’d just stick with searching for the word πŸ™‚

When adding a bundle I can’t choose any options within the bundle, but I guess that this is a case for the plugin creator?

Yep, you will need to contact the plugin authors about this. If it’s anything like the WooCommerce Product Bundles extension though, then this just can’t be done at the moment.
