    Let's pretend I own a nightclub - The Ritz

Within the nightclub there are 3 private VIP rooms available to rent.

    Rooms to Rent:

    1. The California
    2. The Nevada
    3. The New York

If the Customer chooses to rent the very expensive Nevada room then the nightclub want to give them the further choice of choosing a drinks package, but only if they pick that one room.

    Drinks Packages:

    1. Champagne
    2. Whiskey
    3. Miller

So how do I set up my product variations so that the drinks package combo box will only appear if the customer chooses room No 2 - The Nevada?

    Thanks in advance

Woocommerce doesn't really support conditional logic in their variations.

The only way to set this up, as I understand, would be to create 6 variations instead of 3.

    EG:
    1. The California
    2. The New York
    3. The Nevada
    4. The Nevada + Champagne Drinks Package
    5. The Nevada + Whiskey Drinks Package
    6. The Nevada + Miller Drinks Package

    Hope that's possible for you.

    Hi Juilius123

    Thanks for the fast response.

Yes I did consider that option but the client doesn't like that solution, as it means having multiple versions of the same product, which results in a cluttered store.

"Conditional" is the word I was looking for! I need to be enable/disable the appearance of a combo box based on a previous selection by the user.

Does anyone know of any plugins that would do this?

The WooCommerce website mentions Gravity Forms, does anyone have any experience of this or indeed another plugin that can achieve my aim?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey LordLiverpool,

    Only a pleasure.

If you have Gravity Forms you should be able to use this plugin.

Yes sorry that was the plugin I was alluding to,

So its $199 for Gravity Forms and $99 for the WooCommerce Gravity Forms Add-on.

Does anyone know of a free plugin that can achieve the same goal?

    Cheers
