Product Search not working when category password enabloed

    I am using:
    storefront 2.3.3
    woocommerce 3.4.5
    WooCommerce Category Locker 1.0.3

    1)category ‘A’ is locked. it has 3 products
    http://some.website/product-category/categoryA

    2)http://some.website/product-category/categoryA
    I enter the password

    3)all 3 products display for categoryA

    4a) when categories are locked, search DOES NOT return any results from the categoryA products

    4b) when categories are unlocked, search DOES display unlocked categoryA products.

    so i will need to modify the filters. please provide any insight. seems like either modifying this code or looking for different solution that doesn’t use the plugin
