Product search is not working with homepage as single page

I’m getting the 404 when searching for products through the search product box in header. I’ve friendly urls, and I’m using polylang so have language slug. When I search I receive something like this in my address bar http://www.mysite.com/en/home/?then_whatever_im_searching, that’s when I get the 404. If I go to the address bar in the browser and remove the ‘en/home/’ from it and refresh the page, the search occurs. It’s redirecting baddly. Could you fix the code please? Or tell me what I should do? Without a homepage the the theme is useless for ecommerce, thank you.
