Product price changes when selecting delivery country with different tax
-
I’m selling in different countries and two of them (Spain and Belgium) have different taxes for most items.
I want the products to have the same price in every countries so I chose “Yes” to “Prices entered with tax”.
Now, if I add a 29.90€ product to my cart with default shipping country (France) that has 5.5% VAT, and select Spain that has 10% tax in the address form, the price of the product jumps to 31.17€.
If I switch to Belgium which is 6%, the prices changes to 30.04€.
It’s like it just took the 29.90€ price, calculated price without tax based on the default 5.5% tax rate to get to 28.34€, and from there recalculates the price with the tax of the selected country, instead of keeping the price I entered and deduce whatever tax is associated to the delivery country.
Steps to reproduce:
- Head to https://herloop.com/produit/culotte-paris/
- Choose any size and add to cart
- Go to checkout
- Select Spain (“Espagne”) or Belgium (“Belgique”) as a delivery country and watch the price change in the summary under.
PS: I’m using custom tax rates in an additionnal tax class if that might have an impact.
