• The product looks fine to me on the website, and the links work when I log in, but when anyone else clicks the link, or when I click on it from a social media app on my phone all I see is lines of text that look like code.

Other products seem to be fine. I also tried a new product and it seems to be fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @tahliasmasks ,

I just checked the product link that you have shared.

I can visit the product page without any issue and there is no error message. Can you please share a screenshot of the error message that you see? Also, are you using any social share or SEO plugin to share the product to social media?

You can use https://snipboard.io/ to share a screenshot.

    Thank you 🙂

Here’s a screenshot from my husband’s phone when he clicked a link on Messenger. I also got it when I clicked a link to it on instagram, but today it was okay for me. This screenshot was from just a few minutes ago.

I used the Later app to share the link on Instagram, but someone also told me that the link didn’t work on Linked in and that was shared through the website automatically when I published the product. It works on Messenger for me, but not for my husband.

I just tried it again on Instagram through the Later App link and this time it didn’t work for me. So sometimes it does work and sometimes it doesn’t.

It also doesn’t work from Facebook for some people.

    Hello @tahliasmasks ,

    Thanks for the update.

I have just tried your product link on my Twitter and facebook messenger. I did not face any issue accessing your product from there. There was no error/code shown on the page.

I will recommend testing this while having only WooCommerce activated. Deactivate all other plugins. Also, share the link directly without using a sharing plugin.

I am going to keep this thread open. let’s see if someone else can reproduce the error.

    Thank you 🙂

This morning a friend tried the link posted on Facebook and on Messenger and both worked. But the link still doesn’t work for my husband. It works always for me except for on Instagram (posted through the Later app) when it worked once, then didn’t work. The other links posted through that app seem to work just fine. It’s very odd.
